Five Requirements for Physical Life: An Object Lesson for Spiritual Life

Written By Dr. Tim Jennings, Come and Reason Ministry

There are five requirements for physical life, health, growth, and development, and God uses these five elements to teach us truths about spiritual life and health.

The five requirements for physical life are air, water, food, rest, and exercise. Let’s examine how each of these elements have a corresponding spiritual application.

Element One: Air

In order to live physically, we must breathe. Inhaling oxygen is a requirement for life, as well as exhaling carbon dioxide. This is breathing, the active exchange of gases that physical life functions upon.

When God created Adam, He breathed into Adam the “breath of life” and Adam became a living being (Genesis 2:7). The breath of life represents the life-giving spark, energy, the vitalizing or animating power that comes from God. We do not possess life apart from God. We do not have life original to ourselves; rather, our life comes from God.

Jesus told Nicodemus,

I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, “You must be born again.” The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit (John 3:5–8 NIV84).

Jesus first comments upon the physical birth of the flesh, with its amniotic fluid (when a woman’s water breaks), then describes the new birth brought about by the Holy Spirit. Notably, in the Greek, the word for spirit is pneuma, from which we get the words pneumonia and pneumatic; it is translated into English as either spirit, wind, breath, or ghost—as in the Holy Ghost or giving up the ghost.

When a person dies, they stop breathing and are described as having “expired,” which means an end, a termination, but also to exhale—or in this case, to breathe one’s last breath.

Let’s look at two versions of Luke 23:46, which says this about Jesus’ moment of death:

  • KJV: “And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.”
  • NIV84: “Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.”

Just as we need air for our bodies to live, we need the presence of the Holy Spirit to live, grow, and thrive spiritually. The action of breathing is a well-known sign of life, and to live in God’s kingdom we must inhale the Spirit of God and breathe out in our words and actions the truth and love of God in how we live and treat others, which is the sign of a new life in Christ. Jesus said:

All men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another (John 13:35 NIV84).

The life-giving power of love comes from the Spirit of God, the animating power that recreates us in His image and through whom we partake of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4).

The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing (John 6:63 NIV84, emphasis mine).

We say this because we have confidence in God through Christ. There is nothing in us that allows us to claim that we are capable of doing this work. The capacity we have comes from God; it is he who made us capable of serving the new covenant, which consists not of a written law but of the Spirit. The written law brings death, but the Spirit gives life (2 Corinthians 3:4–6 GNT, emphasis mine).

Air is the most critical element we need to physically live—deprivation of oxygen causes death more quickly than the loss of any of the other elements. Likewise, cut off from the Spirit of God, we do not have spiritual life. It is only through the life-giving connection with the Holy Spirit that we are reborn and experience a new life—an eternal life in Christ.

Element Two: Water

Our bodies are approximately 60 percent water, and water is essential for life, health, and functioning. Without water, physical life will cease.

Water refreshes, washes away dirt, cleans wounds, and is essential for physiological life. To the Israelites, the ancient nomadic people who lived in an arid land and through whom God provided the Scriptures, water was understood to be life—and water came to symbolize life.

Jesus told the woman at the well:

If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water … [and] whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life (John 4:10, 14 NIV84).

In the book of Revelation, Jesus tells His faithful:

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life (21:6 NIV84).

And the apostle Paul wrote,

He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:5 NIV84).

The Holy Spirit is described as the Spirit of both truth and love (John 14:17; Romans 5:5, 15:30). Our minds are cleansed of the lies of Satan through the truth brought by the Holy Spirit, and our hearts are cleansed from fear and selfishness by the love brought by the Holy Spirit.

And just as we are to drink physical water every day, so also we are to drink in the truth and love of God via the indwelling Spirit every day to maintain our health, vitality, and development.

And just as in this world we become dirty and clean our bodies with a bath, and quickly become dirty again and need to bathe again, so also after having our hearts and minds washed by the Holy Spirit, this evil world of sin assaults us with new falsehoods, mistreatment, accusations, exploitations, abuses, disappointments, loss and grief, temptations—all kinds of “dirt” that works its way into our thoughts and feelings, and needs to be removed. It is through the life-giving connection with the Holy Spirit that we daily wash our hearts and minds in the truth and love of God in order to prevent the dirt of this world from darkening our hearts.

In order to have spiritual life and health, after partaking of the Holy Spirit and being reborn, we must drink in the truth and love of God to be cleansed from past guilt, shame, fear, heartaches, discouragement and to be invigorated with new motives and empowered for victorious living. We must daily drink the water of life!

Element Three: Food

In order to be physically healthy, we must not only breathe air and drink and bathe in water, but we also must ingest food to provide proper nutrition and energy.

The Bible uses the metaphor of food for our bodies to teach the truth about food for our souls. Jesus said:

I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this bread will live forever” (John 6:53–58 NIV84, emphasis mine).

Jesus is the Word made flesh (John 1:1, 2, 14). When we eat physical food, meat or bread, the food is broken down into molecules that 1) give us energy and 2) also get reassembled to become the building blocks of the various tissues of our bodies. Likewise, as we ingest Jesus, the “Bread of life” who is the source of all truth, we are ingesting the truth of God as embodied, lived out, and revealed by and in Jesus.

These eternal truths, as they are taken into our hearts and minds, become building blocks of our ideas, beliefs, perspectives, schemas, values, and morals, and they form the way we see and understand reality. Just as our bodies are built out of the food we eat, so too our minds, hearts, and characters are transformed, rebuilt, and purified as we feed on the truth of God that is found in Jesus Christ.

And just as the quality of physical food has a direct impact on our physical health, so also the quality of our spiritual food directly impacts our spiritual health. Junk food might taste good and be filling, but it ultimately undermines health, causing physical disease and shortening life. Likewise, “junk” theology, ideas and so-called “truths” that people ingest because it might “taste good” and be “filling,” ultimately causes all kinds of spiritual and relational sickness.

For there will come a time when people will no longer listen to reason, truth, or evidence. Instead, in harmony with their selfishness, they will amass professors, teachers and theologians to delight them with what they want to hear. They will refuse to listen to reason and truth, and–instead embrace fantasies (2 Timothy 4:3, 4 REM).

The Spirit plainly says that in the last days, some will reject the Remedy and promote a deadly false concoction originating in the minds of demons. These toxic constructs are peddled by deceptive charlatans whose characters have been forged in the Satanic mold. They oppose God’s design for life — like marriage, and eating the foods God created to be eaten — which brings blessings to those who know and love God (1 Timothy 4:1–3 REM).

If we want to be spiritually healthy, we must not only be reborn by the Spirit, cleansed in heart and mind by the truth and love of God, but we must also reject the corrupting philosophies of this world and daily partake of heavenly food—the Word that was made flesh, the eternal truths that originate in and lead us back to God and from whom all life, health, and happiness are built.

Element Four: Rest/sleep

Just as our physical bodies need rest and sleep, so also we need spiritual rest.

After God created Adam and Eve, while they were still in a sinless, Edenic paradise, their first full day was spent in Sabbath rest with God. That rest was not a physiological rest; it was spiritual rest, the rest and peace of loving unity with God; the rest and peace of experiencing oneself being loved, cherished, and valued for who one is and not for some work or performance; the rest and peace of not having to prove oneself, of not having to earn one’s way, of not having to work for approval, of not having to fight for affection; the rest and peace of intimacy and loving connection with God, with a corresponding love, admiration, and appreciation for God as their Designer, Creator, and Friend. This rest is the spiritual rest of being fully known by God and in turn knowing God (John 17:3).

God has prescribed for our spiritual health one day in seven to come apart from the cares of this world and rest in Him. Just as Adam and Eve rested before they went to work in the garden, so also we must first be reborn, be cleansed by the washing of the Spirit, ingest the Word of truth, and rest in loving relationship with Jesus before we are prepared and enabled to work in the Lord’s cause.

Jesus said,

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28–30 NIV84).

Spiritual health starts by being reborn, then cleansed, then nurtured, and then resting our cause, our life, our health, our future, our everything into the hands of Jesus. We must rest in Him, rest in intimate connection, and in doing so, we are transformed by both experiencing His love for us and responding with loving admiration and appreciation for Him. We must stop the work of trying to save ourselves, the desperate and frantic effort to prove ourselves, to earn our way, to be “good enough.” For “we are God’s special creation brought to existence by Christ Jesus to showcase his character—his living law of love—which was always God’s design for us” (Ephesians 2:10 REM). Come to Jesus and rest in His loving arms!

Element Five: Exercise

All physical and mental development, growth, and advancement occur only through physical and mental exercise, through application, through purposeful action. This is the law of exertion. After Adam and Eve rested that first Sabbath in their relationship with the Lord, God gave them useful labor to engage and apply their abilities for their growth and development (Genesis 2:15).

If you want to become strong in any way, you must exercise that ability. If you want strong muscles, you must exercise; strong math ability, you must work problems; strong musical skills, you must practice your instrument. And if you want to be strong in the things of God, then you must choose to live out and apply in life the principles and methods of God.

If we don’t use it, we lose it. Jesus taught this reality in the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14–30). Those servants who invested and used their talents gained more. Likewise, when we apply ourselves and use the abilities God has given us, we gain more skill, insight, wisdom, and we grow in godliness. But if we bury our talents, then we lose what we had. If we don’t actively choose to live out the principles of God, then while we may claim legal salvation, our spirits atrophy and we become spiritually weaker and less capable of fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives.

I encourage you to be spiritually healthy—to be reborn, washed and cleansed by the Spirit, nurtured by ingesting the truth of God into our hearts and minds, rest in the goodness and grace of God, and actively choose to apply God’s principles to your life in all that you do.”

Getting Started, Herbal Healing

Understanding Dis-ease

Trying to pass on the understanding of how to heal the body can be a daunting task.  When someone is dealing with a terminal condition the window of opportunity for healing can close very quickly in some cases.  While others with conditions may linger for years without showing much impact on their overall health.

What makes the difference?

One factor is, of course, the condition impacting the body.  Among the most serious and fast moving are Pancreatic Cancer and Lung Cancer.  The window of opportunity for clearing these conditions is often very narrow to nonexistent.  Even with the most aggressive natural healing programs often the diagnosis comes too late. By the time the condition has been discovered the disease has progressed beyond the body’s ability to deal.

Another factor would be the individual’s constitution; the vitality within the person.  Someone with a strong body, mind and spirit will likely have a much easier time clearing the disease from his system.

The Natural Healing Programs will vary little regardless the condition.   An example would be a case of hives or cancers; both are cleared through the same channels.  In most cases Hives are cleared quickly while cancer will take many months.

What is it the body does?  One of the best explanations available is called “Health through Nutrition” by Dr. Joel Robbins

DISEASE AND ITS CAUSE

Disease or “dis-ease” is defined as a lack of health. Disease results when any cell is not functioning 100% of its designed duty whether due to trauma, toxicity, lack of communication or a combination thereof.  Disease is due to stress.

Whether due to ignorance or laziness, exposing the body to stress will produce a diseased state of the body. Stress is the only means of tearing down health resulting in disease, our bodies paying the price for violating the laws of nature (our wrong doings). We do not “catch” a disease or illness, we earn it.  We must “work” for disease.

Disease is nothing more than the body responding to the wrong we have done to it. It is the body’s attempt at keeping us alive in response to the wrongs we have inflicted on our bodies.

Pathological changes are the cell’s response to stress. These changes or compensations allow the body to survive -maintain homeostasis- as long as the stress continues. These tissue changes which result in disease are the outward manifestation of internal compensation to stress. Until the cause is removed, the condition will remain in one form or another.

Prostate Health Naturally

Dr John Christopher

DEFINITION: The prostate consists of 3 lobes which manufacture seminal fluid. The tube which empties the bladder passes over the middle lobe.

In later life, the prostate gland often becomes enlarged and causes problems by closing off the exit of urine from the bladder. This urine retention often starts by a decrease in the force of the stream of urine leaving the body.

Prostate blockage of the flow of urine because of infection or cancer can be very serious — even to the point of causing uremic poisoning within the body.

The cause of enlargement of the prostate gland is the collection of mucus and sediment in the gland. Often the male hormones produced by the body are not enough to keep the prostate gland functioning well.

The nitrates and nitrites in processed meats, hot dogs, baloney, and other cold cuts have a particularly important role in the formation of cancer of the prostate in the male.

HEALTH THROUGH NUTRITION

The purpose of this article is to provide an Understanding the Natural Laws of Health; How we earn our dis-ease and how to clear dis-ease from the body.

Introduction:

If we take an honest look at nature, we will observe that three things are present:

1) Nature follows definite laws which are not subject to opinion or variance; and
2) Every aspect of life is reflected by nature.
3) Nature is governed by the law of CAUSE and EFFECT.

If we have violated a natural law, we have created a Cause, for which we will suffer an Effect.
Our ignorance of the laws of Nature does not change these laws.

There are two reasons for disease, or lack of health: 1) Ignorance or 2) Laziness

In the field of health, there are a few good rules to follow to achieve health.
1) Follow the laws of Nature
2) Let Truth be your authority, not authority your truth.

One of the Laws of Nature is that the innate intelligence of the body strives to keep the body alive, regardless of the cost. The “cost” is what we call “disease”. Disease is the effort of the body to keep us alive.

WHAT IS REAL FOOD?

The body will keep us alive and healthy provided that we feed it “Real Food”. Real food is a food which is compatible with the body; that in no way takes from the body, but lends itself to the building up of health and maintaining life. It contains nothing that is harmful, toxic or non usable by the body. Real Food is defined for us by Nature as follows:

1) Something edible grown by Nature of the Plant Kingdom
2) Food which can be eaten without processing in any way.
3) Food which comes to us from Nature as “complete packages”, that is, they contain naturally everything in them necessary for the body to process and assimilate that food.

WHY DO WE EAT FOOD?

The only qualities of food which the body requires in a complete package are the following: If all of these components are in the food, the food is complete. If any of these are missing, the food is not “Real Food”.

Real Food is provided by Nature in this form as raw fruits and vegetables. Raw fruits and vegetables contain all of the parts mentioned above. If food has been processed, cooked or altered in any way so as to change or eliminate any of the above ingredients, it is no longer “Real Food” as far as the Human Body is concerned.

PLANTS ARE THE SOURCE OF REAL FOOD FOR ALL LIFE FORMS

The plant kingdom utilizes sunshine, carbon dioxide, oxygen, water and organic minerals in the process of photosynthesis to feed itself and grow. The result is a living plant (food for animal consumption) containing:

  • glucose
  • protein
  • fatty acids
  • organic minerals
  • organic enzymes (vitamins)
  • water (pure)

Inorganic Mineral from the Earth + Photosynthesis = Organic Minerals from Plants which provide Protein and Enzymes for animals and humans.

Understanding Yucca, An Herbal Support

Some of the most impressive health benefits of yucca include its ability to boost your immune system, improve healing rates, increase your heart health, optimize digestion, reduce cholesterol levels, ease arthritic pain, prevent the development of diabetes, improve cognition, and aid in skin and eye health.

Yucca

The term yucca doesn’t refer to a single plant, but rather a large genus of more than 40 species of hardy, perennial shrubs and trees. They belong to the Asparagaceae family, and have a multitude of common names, particularly the roots of the yucca plant, which is where the most concentrated and easily accessible nutrients are found. These roots are often referred to by their common names of manioc or cassava. Adam’s Needle is one very popular variety of yucca that has particularly powerful nutritional benefits and is widely researched. The primary distribution of yucca is in Central and North America, as well as South America and the Caribbean, and they grow in particularly dry, arid climates. Only a limited number of species grows the valuable roots, but there are also medicinal properties of the fruits, seeds, flowers, and stems. The leaves are usually very tough and sharp, like a cactus, and are generally not used.

The yucca root is often used to replace potatoes in a wide variety of cultural dishes throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, and due to the recent exposure it has enjoyed as a healthier alternative to the carb-heavy, simple-sugar laden potato, it is increasing in popularity throughout the United States. The saponins, reservatrol, and other phytonutrients found in the yucca plant are what endow it with such important medicinal benefits. Now, let’s take a closer look at some of these impressive health benefits of yucca.

Health Benefits of Yucca

Digestive Efficiency: The dense and nutrient-rich root of the yucca plant also means that it is full of valuable dietary fiber. This fiber can help stimulate peristaltic motion in your bowels and keep you regular, eliminating problems like constipation and diarrhea. A diet high in dietary fiber can also help you reduce bloating, cramping, excessive flatulence, and more serious gastrointestinal issues.

Weight Loss: Due to the fact that dietary fiber makes you feel full and regulates the uptake of nutrients in an efficient way, you are less likely to snack or break from your dietary restrictions. Simple sugars often leave us feeling hungry when we’re not, simply because our body’s glucose levels are imbalanced. Yucca root can prevent that and help in your weight loss efforts in a way that other carbohydrates can’t.

Diabetes Control: Adding yucca to your diet, as mentioned above, can help regulate insulin and glucose levels, thereby preventing the peaks and plunges of blood sugar that can lead to diabetes. Given that diabetes is considered by some to be a global “pandemics”, adding yucca to your diet seems like a great choice!

Heart Health: The dietary fiber of yucca can help to lower cholesterol levels and promote a healthier cardiovascular system by balancing fatty acid levels. However, the potassium found in yucca can also help relieve the tension in the blood vessels and arteries, thereby lowering your chances of stress on the heart, which can lead to atherosclerosis, strokes, and heart attacks.

Immune Health: Yucca has a high level of vitamin C, far more than most other edible roots, and this makes it incredibly important for immune system health. Vitamin C is the first line of defense for our immune system, stimulating the production and activity of white blood cells. Vitamin C also acts as an antioxidant, preventing free radicals from damaging our organ systems and causing cell mutation.

Wound Healing and Growth: Vitamin C is also a key component in the production of collagen, which we need for all blood vessels, cells, tissues, and muscles, so adding a vitamin C boost to your diet can help repair and growth throughout your body.

Ease Arthritic Pain: The resveratrol and saponins present in yucca root have been directly linked to anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, making it a very good natural treatment for inflammation issues, particularly arthritis. Studies have shown that there is a strong correlation between the two, but the precise chemical pathway remains somewhat mysterious.

Improve Cognition: The high levels of potassium and folate, both of which are known to stimulate blood flow to the brain and increase cognitive abilities, makes yucca a “brain food”. Stimulating pathways in the brain and increasing blood flow is also good for combating cognitive disorders and keeping you sharp well into your old age.

Skin and Eye Health: Folic acid has also been connected to improving the overall skin and eye health in humans, mainly through its antioxidant activities. Furthermore, folic acid has been directly linked to a reduced chance of neural tube defects in infants, so pregnant mothers are encouraged to add folic acid to their diet in recommended amounts. Yucca is a great way to boost that vitamin intake!

Skin Protection: There are some photoprotective properties of yucca that make it important for protecting the skin against damage from the sun. The resveratrol found in yucca is proven to strengthen skin and increase its resistance to degradation from free radicals and sun damage that can eventually lead to skin cancer.

A Final Word of Warning: Although the benefits of yucca are quite clear, there have also been numerous reports of upset stomachs by those who have consumed yucca in large quantities, including diarrhea, vomiting, and nausea. As with any new addition to your diet, eat yucca in moderation, and always consult a medical professional or nutritionist before adding a new component to your daily or weekly diet.

Natural Suggestion for Herpes and other STD’s

  • Today is the beginning of the rest of my life.
  • I want to be stronger today than I was yesterday.
  • I want to Love more Deeply,
  • I want to Hear More Loudly,
  • I want to Touch More Fully the souls of those I pass by today.
  • I want to heal the wounds life has inflicted.
  • I want to point souls to the one who has all their answers.
  • I want to praise more joyously,
  • I want to offer myself more completely
  • To the One who has given His all for me.
Black Walnut

We have all made mistakes in our past, sometimes the results of our choices bring a lifetime of pain to us and those we share our journey with. Contracting an STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease) often carries lifelong consequences. Today I want to suggest some effective herbal supports that have proven helpful for others. These Suggestions are a combination of advice from Dr. John Christopher and myself.

Dr Christopher on STD’s:

The world today is on the skids. Disease is rampant and the cause is usually constipation, devitalized foods, etc. But there is one type of disorder that almost reaches epidemic proportions. This is venereal disease, the degeneration of the reproductive organs. Statistics support that far more people than you would think have or have had some form of gonorrhea. These diseases are usually sexually transmitted, but can then be passed on to innocent people and even children from contaminated latrines. There is even a strain of gonorrhea prevalent today known as the “Travis Strain” of gonorrhea (named after an air base in California where it was brought in after the war with Asia) that is resistant to penicillin and responds only to one of the most expensive forms of antibiotics which is unaffordable to the general public.

Indiscriminate sexual relations keep these diseases in constant incubation. Many people go untreated for the disorder and many others could care less if they are treated or not unless the disease advances to such a stage that the pain becomes unbearable. This disease is more common among men than women.

In gonorrhea, the genital area becomes extremely inflamed and a burning sensation occurs when the man urinates. There is also a discharge of green or yellow pus which continues for 6 to 8 weeks. It is through this pus that others can become infected. Gonorrhea eventually attacks the nervous system. If a person contracts the disease, treatment should begin immediately. A fresh fruit juice fast is recommended. The bowels should be kept clear by using the lower bowel formula. Follow the cleansing program recommended in the little booklet, Dr. Christopher’s Three Day Cleansing Program and Mucusless Diet. Add to this the herbal formula for the nerves, or some good nervine teas such as valerian root and chamomile. The prostate formula should also be used.

The new sexually transmitted disease called Herpes is not new at all but has been around since ancient times. It is akin to leprosy and is spreading in epidemic proportions. Treatment should be similar to treatment for gonorrhea. A poultice of raw garlic and slippery elm with golden seal can be applied directly to sores. This may be slightly painful, but it is one of the best ways to clear sores quickly.

Herpes is a result of toxic filth in the system so the blood stream should be kept clean by using a Red Clover Combination along with the avoidance of re-infestation by careful personal hygiene.

My Opinion

Name Changes

We received a warning Letter from the FDA on Monday. Their current issues are with the names of several of our Herbal Support Formulas. They also found a connection between the Ladyofherbs.com website and our on line store.

According to the FDA language used to sell a product is NOT protected under the “right to free speech”, it is, according the them, “commercial language” and must comply with all their rules.

We comply with their understanding of free speech by keeping our teaching and resource site separate from our store site. There is no reference to the store at my blog or the wwwladyofherbs.com page. They had to dig really, really deep to find the connection they found. A reference that should have been removed from the product information in the store. It has now been removed and several of our Herbal Support formula names have been changed to comply with their regulations.

The Natural Healing Ministry has been our work and calling. It is our belief that we should comply as far as possible, so we are able to continue to provide the truth of the power of the herbs, to support and restore health to the body, as found in God’s Pharmacy.

The PDF File below will provide the name changes for our members needing this information.

Herbal Healing, Skin, Wounds & First Aid

Clearing Tumors, Cysts, & Warts, Naturally

There are few things in life that bring us to attention quicker than finding a lump or bump under our skin.  One day you feel nothing, the next there is a lump.  The doctor confirms that yes you have a lump.  He cannot tell you exactly what you are dealing with until he does further tests.  One of these will likely be a needle biopsy.  Most natural healers will caution anyone considering a biopsy for several reasons.

First: The Body has locked the toxic material away in a nice little sack. If this is a malignant growth poking a whole into the bag allowing the toxic waste to mix with the blood is a very bad idea.

Second: There is the danger of infection and uncontrolled bleeding.  No matter what the doctor says, a biopsy is a dangerous procedure which has taken many a life, before the diseased condition was even diagnosed.

With all this in mind today I want to provide some great Natural Healing Material which has been used successfully in conjunction with the Incurables Program to clear tumors & cancer from all parts of the body

When doing any strong healing program it is important to ensure the bowels are open and working well, while supporting the Liver and Kidneys in their role of detoxing the waste from the body. The Incurables Program will establish the foundational support for the Liver Flushing and Kidney Flushing needed to clear these issues from the system.

Potassium Deficiency is the Cause

When cysts or tumors grow in places where they can be seen outside the body, often we react by having them cut out. This defeats healing by working on the effect instead of the cause. You can cut cysts out, tumors off, and burn warts off (which are also a potassium deficiency), or get rid of as many moles as you wish, but unless you go to the cause, they will grow back again, and you may end up with as many or more cysts, tumors, moles as before. Different signs of potassium deficiency will keep popping out on the body because the condition that needs correcting is on the inside. You have to go into the cause, Dr. Christopher always insisted, which is the way we have been eating.

CYSTS, TUMORS

Hundreds of women have wondered why they have tumors and cysts in their bodies. The cause, according to Dr. Christopher, is POTASSIUM DEFICIENCY. When a patient takes plenty of potassium FOODS (not supplements) you can remove the cause of the cysts and tumors. Other foods, which are lower in potassium, must not be increased when you are trying to increase the potassium in the system. When patients go on the three-day cleanse and mucusless diet and take the female corrective formulas, they receive nourishment which is high in potassium. Miraculous things happen to them.

For even faster results, you can add to each cup of herb tea six to ten drops of Elderberry Tincture or six to ten drops of Black Walnut Tincture, both of which are extremely high in potassium.

Cysts and tumors are like leeches, but they stay in places where there is a body deficiency. As soon as the body is balanced and well, the cysts and tumors have to go, because the material is too healthy for them to live on.

This is why so many patients brought Dr. Christopher cysts and tumors in various sizes that they had expelled from their bodies. There is not enough food, in the form of dying or deficient body materials, so they just decide to leave.

You can make your own potassium broth by simmering equal parts of red potatoes, celery, carrots, onions, and herbs to taste. Raw vegetable and fruit juices also flood the system with potassium.

Potassium Broth Recipe:

This is a great-tasting addition to your cleansing program. It will flush your system of toxins, poisons and unwanted salts and acids while giving you a concentrated amount of vitamins and minerals.

Fill a large pot with:
25% *potato peelings,
25% *carrot peelings and whole chopped beets,
25% chopped onions including 50 cloves of garlic,
25% celery and dark greens.
Add hot peppers to taste.
Add enough distilled water to cover vegetables

Simmer on very low temperature for 1-2 hours. Strain, or just dip your mug in, and
drink only the broth.

Put the vegetables in your compost. Make enough for two days, refrigerating the leftover
broth. It is important to use Organic vegetables. We do not want to consume any toxic
insecticides, pesticides or inorganic chemical fertilizers while we are on a cleansing and
detoxification program.

Using Flax Seed Oil

Flax seeds are known for their many health benefits, which include providing a hearty dose of protein and fiber, reducing appetite and aiding in weight control.

Loaded with nutrients

Just one serving provides a good amount of protein, fiber, and omega 3 fatty acids, along with several important vitamins and minerals.

One tablespoon (7 grams) of ground flaxseed contains:

  • Calories: 37
  • Carbs: 2 grams
  • Fat: 3 grams
  • Fiber: 2 grams
  • Protein: 1.3 grams
  • Thiamine: 10% of the Daily Value (DV)
  • Copper: 9% of the DV
  • Manganese: 8% of the DV
  • Magnesium: 7% of the DV
  • Phosphorus: 4% of the DV
  • Selenium: 3% of the DV
  • Zinc: 3% of the DV
  • Vitamin B6: 2% of the DV
  • Iron: 2% of the DV
  • Folate: 2% of the DV

Flaxseed is particularly high in thiamine a B vitamin that plays a key role in energy metabolism as well as cell function. It’s also a great source of copper, which is involved in brain development, immune health, and iron metabolism

High in omega-3 fatty acids: Flaxseed is an excellent source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a type of omega-3 fatty acid that’s important for heart health and found primarily in plant foods

Rich in Fiber: With so much fiber packed into each tiny seed, flaxseed may help promote regular bowel movements and improve digestive health.

Versatile and easy to use:

Both flaxseed and flaxseed oil are easy to use and can be added to a variety of recipes. Here are a few simple ways to increase your intake:

  • Add flaxseed powder to water or sprinkle it into your smoothies.
  • Drizzle flaxseed oil on fresh salads in place of salad dressing.
  • Sprinkle ground flaxseed over hot or cold cereal for extra fiber and flavor.
  • Mix flaxseed into your favorite yogurt.
  • Give baked goods a healthy twist by mixing flaxseed into cookies, muffins, or breads.
  • Combine flaxseed with a bit of water for a simple egg substitute.
  • Incorporate flaxseed into meat or veggie patties.

How much Flax Seed Oil do you need?

Many of the health benefits noted in the studies above were observed with just 1 tablespoon (7 grams) of ground flaxseed per day.

However, it’s best to limit your intake to around 4–5 tablespoons (28–35 grams) of flaxseed per day — so you don’t get too much fiber — and enjoy as part of a healthy, balanced diet.

SUMMARY

Ground flaxseed provides the greatest health benefits. If you use flaxseed oil, remember to store it in a cool, dark place and cook with it at low temperatures.

Coconut Oil vs. Olive Oil for Skin Care

We are always looking for better ways to aid our members with the best herbal supports available. Here is some great information on Coconut Oil and Olive Oil. It would appear that our Black Walnut Salve would be more effective if we produced it with the Coconut oil.

I will post the article here as anytime I link to an article that has such great information it will, of course, disappear leaving a bad link and the loss of some great material.

Olive oil has been used since ancient times as a moisturizer for skin and hair. These days, however, coconut oil has been getting all the beauty world and wellness buzz. From haircare to lip balm to coconut pulling – a dental health trend where you swish oil in your mouth for anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes – coconut oil seems like it can do it all.

But which is better for skin care? While they both deliver a boost of moisture and a smooth, silky sheen, there are some key differences between these two hydrating natural oils. We’ll compare the two here. The Credit for this research and article goes to: https://www.oliveoil.com/coconut-vs-olive-oil-skin-care/

Benefits of Coconut Oil vs. Olive Oil for Skin Care

Is it moisturizing?

Coconut Oil

Rich and lush, coconut oil is a natural moisturizer. It makes skin feel soft, supple, and smooth, and gives off a light, glowy sheen.

That said, there are two types of moisturizers: occlusives and humectants. Oils, including both coconut oil and olive oil, are occlusives.

Occlusives coat the skin and keep moisture inside so that it doesn’t evaporate.

Humectants attract moisture from the environment or the ingredients in the product itself and draw it into the skin. Two humectants commonly used in skin care products are hyaluronic acid and glycerin.

Coconut oil also contains high amounts of linoleic acid. This is an unsaturated omega-6 fatty acid that acts as an emollient and can also boast some anti-aging benefits, too. An emollient soothes the skin, leaving it feeling silky-smooth and supple.

Olive Oil

As olive oil is also an occlusive, applying olive oil to the skin feels rich and moisturizing. In addition to giving skin a moisturized feeling, olive oil contains fatty acids that help dry skin, including oleic acid, palmitic acid, and linoleic acids.

Olive oil is also an emollient, so skin feels smooth and moisturized.

The Verdict

Both coconut oil and olive oil are occlusive moisturizers, which means they do a good job sealing moisture in. They’re also emollients, so they soothe and smooth the skin for a lush, moisturized feel. However, they don’t draw moisture into the skin.

To make either oil a more well-rounded moisturizer, combine it with another product that contains a humectant.

Is it antimicrobial?

Coconut Oil

Some studies have found that the medium-chain fatty acids found in virgin coconut oil have impressive antimicrobial properties. These fatty acids, which are a form of saturated fat, make up 65% of the total composition of virgin coconut oil. Lauric acid, which makes up 49%, is particularly effective at killing harmful microorganisms and bacteria.

One interesting study compared the effectiveness of olive oil and coconut oil on individuals with atopic dermatitis (also known as eczema) caused by Staphylococcus aureus bacteria on the skin. In the end, only 5% of subjects using coconut oil were still positive, compared to 50% using olive oil.

As such, coconut oil can be used on skin infections caused by bacteria or fungi, like athlete’s foot, folliculitis, and acne.

Olive Oil

EVOO also has some antimicrobial properties. (Read more about the bioactive compounds in olive oil here.) The main polyphenol compounds found in extra virgin olive oil include oleuropein, hydroxytyrosol, and oleocanthal, which possess anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties.

Some research shows that olive oil can help kill the bacteria that causes acne to form, though more studies are needed, as this sample size was rather small.

The Verdict

Thanks to the power of lauric acid, one of the medium-chain fatty acids in coconut oil, coconut oil has impressive antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties. It can be used for athlete’s foot and other mild skin maladies. Extra virgin olive oil also contains polyphenol compounds that are shown to be antimicrobial, though these are less effective at killing microorganisms than coconut oil.

When it comes to antimicrobial and antibacterial properties in skin care, however, these are often aimed at fighting acne. Acne requires bacteria to grow. While coconut oil has more antibacterial properties, it is also quite heavy, which means it can cause a breakout.

As cosmetic chemist Ee Ting Ng told Byrdie, “The fatty acids prevalent in olive oil—and all plant oils and butters in general—are the very food source for acne-causing bacteria and yeasts to grow.” As such plant oils may not be the best choice for those with acne.

Olive oil can also cause a breakout on acneic skin, but it is lighter than coconut oil so it could have better results. We suggest doing a spot check on your chin line or another more hidden spot before you apply either oil to your whole face.

Does it have antioxidants?

Coconut Oil

Antioxidants help with oxidative stress, a process that can produce free radicals. These are potentially dangerous chemicals that can damage cells and could lead to the development of cancer, in the worst cases.

Coconut oil does contain antioxidants, but not to the extent of EVOO. As Dr. Qi Sun, an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School told the New York Times, “While it’s true that extra-virgin coconut oil, like extra-virgin olive oil, contains phytochemicals, most of the coconut oil on the market is refined and provides few of those antioxidants.”

EVOO, on the other hand, is not refined, so it retains an impressive amount of antioxidants.

Olive Oil

The benefits of olive oil’s powerful antioxidants might work to protect the skin similar to how the cooking oil works to protect heart health and help with cholesterol. The antioxidants, especially the omega-3s and vitamins A and K, found in olive oil might work to prevent premature aging when applied topically.

And there’s more: some intriguing research suggests that applying olive oil after sun exposure could protect against cells that cause cancer.

In this study, researchers applied olive oil to the skin of mice that had been exposed to potentially dangerous UV rays. The mice with olive oil had significantly less tumor growth than the mice that did not have olive oil on the skin. More studies are needed on the effects on human skin, but it is an exciting finding.

The Verdict

As the professor mentioned, while coconut oil has antioxidants, the refining process doesn’t do much good for getting those antioxidants to you, the consumer, leaving olive oil the victor when it comes to antioxidant benefits.

Which is Better: Coconut Oil or Olive Oil?

To sum up, neither is “better” across the board. Coconut oil and olive oil have a lot in common, when it comes to skin care benefits.

If you’re looking for specific benefits, however, there are a few key differences to note.

Olive oil has more antioxidants than coconut oil.

Coconut oil has more antimicrobial properties, making it a better choice for fighting funguses and infections.

As coconut oil feels heavier than olive oil, some may feel it’s too strong for the face. Others will love the rich feel. In the end, it comes down to preference.

How to Apply Coconut Oil to the Skin

To get all the benefits of coconut oil, you’ll need the good stuff. Start with a 100% pure, unrefined, organic coconut oil.

As coconut oil is occlusive, it will keep your other products from seeping into the skin. Be sure to apply it as the last step to your regimen (beneath sunscreen during the day, of course!)

For best results, apply when skin is wet and avoid applying alongside essential oils.

Coconut oil hardens at room temperature, so massage it in your hands until it liquifies and then apply wherever you need it.

Use coconut oil as a makeup remover to remove waxy products like waterproof mascara and eyeliner.

Too much coconut oil can cause clogged pores because of the total fat, depending on your skin type. Starting with a thin layer is best.

How to Apply Olive Oil to the Skin

Ideally, start with an organic, non-GMO extra virgin olive oil (EVOO). This olive oil contains the highest concentration of antioxidants and vitamins like vitamin E, and uses no preservatives.

As olive oil is an occlusive moisturizer, sealing in moisture, it should be applied at the end of your skin care regimen after using cleansers, serums, and even moisturizers. (By day, it should be your last product before sunscreen!)

You might choose to mix your olive oil with another moisturizer. As always, apply right out of the shower or bath, when your skin is still a little wet.

Try using olive oil as a makeup remover to remove waxy products.

Don’t overdo it! A thin layer works wonders. Too much can cause clogged pores, especially for acne-prone skin or already oily skin conditions.
