Clearing Blockage

affirmation_woman cutA blockage can occur anywhere in the body. The condition is brought on by illness or injury affecting the removal of waste and influx of nutrients into the affected area.  For healing to occur blockage must be cleared and the affected area provided with an abundant supply of healing nutrients.  This can be done in a variety of ways depending on the blockage.

The Basics for clearing Blockage apply regardless of the cause or location of the blockage.  The bowels must be open and working well.  The work of supporting the immune system with Echinacea is an ongoing part of any healing program.  Supplying the body with the nutrients needed to build the immune system while healing and rebuilding the body is done by daily consuming nutrient rich juices and food.

bedFever Flu Blockage: Dr. Christopher explains the body’s efforts to throw off waste through the skin during a flu or cold being prevented by a layer of mucus blocking up the small capillaries.  This blockage causes the body’s temperature to rise which liquidizes the fibrin and mucus allowing this waste to pass from the system through the skin.    Once the blockage has been cleared the waste is cleared and the fever dissipates.  It is important to work with a fever while not allowing the fever to burn out of control.

Fomentation 2- 178x178Injury caused blockage: A pulled or torn muscle or ligament will often result in a swollen condition around the injured area.  The body is trying to protect the area by building up a wall of fluid around the injury.  This blockage hinders healing and can be greatly reduced by the application of ice or cold water.  The application of BF&C slave at the time of a soft tissue injury will often prevent or greatly reduce the blockage and swelling bringing quick healing to the area.

H&C 2smUse Hydrotherapy for clearing blockage remaining from old injuries or illnesses.  Hot and Cold applications increases circulation allowing waste to be removed and nutrients supplied.  The application of hot and cold can be accomplished with buckets of water, a shower or soak in a tub.  Benefit is received when the hot application is followed quickly and dramatically with the intense cold application.  A good analogy is loading and firing a blood bullet into the affected area.  The Hot water loads the gun by bringing fresh blood over the affected area while the cold fires it, sending the blood deep into the blocked up area.  The more drama between the hot and cold changes the more power behind the blood bullet, the deeper and more effective the circulation through the blocked up area.
